We accept eligible Windows laptops, MacBooks and game consoles through our nationwide mail-in repair service. Once your device arrives, we inspect the fault, confirm the repair options and keep you updated throughout the process.

MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models can be sent for assessment and repair, including suitable hardware and logic board faults.

How Our Mail-In Repair Service Works
Our nationwide mail-in process is designed to make sending your device for diagnosis and repair straightforward, even if you are outside Christchurch.
Submit the Mail-In Repair Form
Tell us your contact details, device make and model, and a brief description of the problem.
We Review Your Request
We check the information you provide and advise whether the device is suitable for mail-in repair.
If the exact cause is unknown, we may provide an approximate repair price range before the device is sent.
Pack and Send Your Device
Package the device securely and send it to our Wigram workshop using a tracked courier service.
We Inspect and Diagnose the Fault
Once the device arrives, we inspect and test it. Some faults can be confirmed quickly, while more complex problems may require additional diagnostic work or an attempted repair before the exact cause can be established.
We Confirm the Repair Options
Once the fault or available repair options are known, we contact you with the findings and expected repair cost.
Repair, Payment and Return Shipping
After the repair is completed and payment is received, we securely package the device and send it back using tracked shipping.

How to Pack Your Device for Shipping
Please pack your device carefully to reduce the risk of damage during transport.
Larger or heavier devices may need additional packaging. Make sure there is enough cushioning around the device to prevent movement and impact damage during shipping.

Where the fault and required part can be identified from the model number and symptoms, we may be able to provide an approximate or fixed repair price before you send the device.

Diagnosis May Be Required
More complex faults may require diagnosis after the device arrives. We will inspect the device and contact you with the available repair options and expected cost.
If you would like us to identify the exact fault but decide not to proceed with the repair, a diagnostic fee of $50–$100 may apply depending on the time and complexity of the diagnosis.
If you proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee is normally credited toward the repair where applicable.
How Long Does Mail-In Repair Take?
Repair time depends on the device, the type of fault, parts availability and the amount of diagnostic work required.
Straightforward repairs can often be completed quickly once the correct parts are available. More complex motherboard or intermittent faults may take longer.
We will keep you updated if the repair is expected to take longer than usual.
Return Shipping
Once the repair is complete and payment has been received, we will securely package your device for return delivery.
Return shipping is charged separately.
A tracking number will be provided once your device has been dispatched back to you.
