Mail-in repair

LaptopFixNZ offers mail-in repair on Laptops and MacBooks.

Liquid spilled, damaged or other motherboard issues not a problem for us.

How it works?

Step 1

Fill out the form below and give us information about your device.

Step 2

Package your device well using a shipping box or carton with bubble wrap. Mail-in your device with a tracking number.

Be sure to email us the tracking number when you mail us your device for mail-in repair.

Step 3

We will start working on your device ASAP. You will get updates letting you know that your device has been repaired. You only pay once we complete the work.

All repairs are typically completed within 5-7 working days and your device is promptly shipped back to you. Please note: Some jobs will require more labour and can take up to 2 weeks to complete. 

Same day service is available on most repairs that are shipped overnight and received by 12 pm. Same day service dependent on parts availability and job complexity 

 A $ 40.00  return shipping fee will be processed. For larger, heavier devices an additional fee for shipping may apply.

All mail-in repair work follows our normal pricing. You can find prices for various issues from charging port repair to battery replacement.

Step 4

Your device will be shipped back to you after the payment is received. You’ll get a tracking number to check the way back home.

I (the customer) hereby authorize LaptopFixNZ to perform the service purchased below. All jobs must be collected within 30 days of completion. Jobs not collected in this period will be deemed as “uncollected goods”, and /or incur a storage fee. Uncollected goods may be sold/disposed of after the required time has elapsed. I also recognise that it is my responsibility to inform LaptopFixNZ of any faults or defects related to the work within the warranty period. I understand LaptopFixNZ is not responsible for any data loss and I am responsible for backing up the data on my device before sending it for repair. Claims of damage done by the work (dents, scratches, etc…) must be made on the delivery date and not after. Claims made after the delivery date are null and void. LaptopFixNZ is not responsible for damages that occur during shipping to or from the repair shop. LaptopFixNZ guarantees the labour of the work for a period of 90 days. warranty starts on the date of delivery. The warranty covers the original hardware problem only, any issue that was not originally specified by the customer is not covered by warranty. Warranty service claims must be made before the warranty period ends. Any damage caused by abuse, such as liquid damage voids all warranties. It is the customer’s responsibility to return the device for warranty service. LaptopFixNZ will be responsible for shipping the repaired device back to the customer.
